Harkness is an executive producer of BadWolf's eight episode television series based on Harkness' novel, A Discovery of Witches. The book features Marcus Whitmore, Matthew Clairmont's vampire son. Harkness released a companion book in May 2018 entitled The World of All Souls: The Complete Guide to A Discovery of Witches, Shadow of Night, and The Book of Life (All Souls Trilogy), followed in September 2018 by an All Souls series trilogy prequel/sequel entitled Time's Convert. Harkness is also the author of the award-winning wine blog, Good Wine Under $20. On May 12, 2014, chapter 1 was released on Harkness' website. Have just cracked open notebook #3 for my #WIP, the 5th installment in the #AllSoulsSeries. And I can’t imagine writing another series besides the All Souls Series but I would like to write some historical fiction. Q: I know you are currently writing novels in the All Souls Universe, but do you have plans to write an entirely new series in the future? If you do, will you write under a pseudonym?Ī: I don’t do pseudonyms. All the books will have Diana and Matthew in them, but other stories need to be told too! Q: Will Book 5 be a “Diana and Matthew” book, or will it center on a different character?Ī: Not ready to say quite yet. It’s coming along well but keeps changing (that’s a good thing!) with lots of twists and turns. I am still working on All Souls Series book #5. Book 5 will be out next year (fingers crossed), then book 6, book 7. The story continues in book 4, TIME’S CONVERT (out now).
